Skyways Hotel

Had to book for one night because my flight was delayed one day. Due to Typhoon in Japan. After that, JAL transfer my flight to Qatar airline which would depart on the same day. So I had to cancel the room last minute. ( before check in time 3 hours). They made an exception for me and let me cancel for FREE. I really appreciate it. I will definitely stay this place for next time. Thanks again!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Right next to Hertz. Room is in old style but great choice if you want to transit in LAX considering the price！

Great spot to stay if you want to be close to the airport. Super friendly and helpful staff.

FYI: Must book in advance and make sure your credit card will approve your stay because mine was cancelled the day of arrival and after having booked nearly a month in advance. I wasn’t the only one. Therefore, didn’t have to sleep ON THE STREET. Make sure you get on the right car-rental bus. Also, one appears to have to go inside the gates for pickup. Other reviewers mention better options. Very clean and quiet. The planes come very low down this street for landing at LAX. Appeared to be a 30 minute walk.

One of my favorite affordable hotels every time I’m in LA very quick and easy check-in rooms are always neat and just an overall great hotel for anyone who has a short stay. Love that it’s also in an area where Waymo’s can go to and it’s just easy getting to close by stores.

It's a hidden gym of a hotel, nice and clean. The airport is literally right down the way, car rentals across the street. They have a Greek themed Restaurant that is apart of the area that serves really good food that's decently priced. The only downside is that some people may not like the airplanes flying above throughout the day and almost really late into the evening, to each their own. It did not bother me none.

Great location for returning a rental car after a road trip! We stayed here the night before our flight, and it was super convenient—just a short walk from the rental car return. The next morning, it was about a $40 Uber ride to our terminal. The front desk guy was really friendly and helpful. Just a heads-up: don’t make the same mistake I did and accidentally pull into the neighbor’s yard—it looks like a motel, but it’s not. The hotel’s own parking is small and located right by the roadside.

Stayed in July 2025. The room was clean and well taken care of. Staff was friendly and attentive. Owners tend a nice little garden within the courtyard of the hotel with a beautiful little Greek dinner attached. The courtyard creates a surprisingly tranquil space in the bustling core of the area. I would very much stay again. The only thing that might cause some people issues is the proximity to the airport but I really enjoyed seeing the planes taking off on a regular basis.

For the price you cannot beat it! Super close to the airport in fact if planes bug you, you may have trouble sleeping here. The rooms are clean well maintained and surprisingly quite. Closest convenience store is a .5 mile walk so be aware. I felt okay walking to it even at night. The Greek restaurant next door isn't to be missed! Great food! Contact less checkout, just drop the keys and go. For the price it's a bargain

I live next door and I have stayed in the hotel in the past. The service is good. On street parking is atrocious but they have a little parking lot of their own. I have used their ATM machine several times when I was desperate. Thier $5 was bad enough but I didn't notice this time and was shocked to see that they had raised it to $7.50!!! That's OUTRAGEOUS!! It would probably turn their customers off, too! If their ATM company is going to charge fees like that, they should shop around and find one that charges less! They could wind up losing customers that way. I highly recommend they try it. I won't patronize it again unless they do. There are other places, like 7-11 up the street that don't have such high fees! I would use it much more often if they could get a better deal!
